Today's episode is extra special, as it features my mom, Rose.

They say moms are superheroes without the cape, well I think my mom deserves a cape, she is one of the hardest working people I know. For over 22 years she has been my personal superhero and I can’t thank her enough for it. Always there to share advice, reassuring words, a tight hug, or even just a bowl of warm homemade soup (the best in my opinion). She showed me what it means to love with everything you have. Whether we're together, or apart, I'm always reminded of how proud she is of me, and in turn I hope she knows how proud I am to be her daughter.

They say moms are like our built-in best friends, and after 22 years of having her by my side, I couldn't agree more. My mom has been my rock, my confidante, and my source of inspiration. Through her I've learned how beautiful life can be when I step out of my comfort zone, the importance of taking deep breaths (it helps the nerves!), and what it means to love unconditionally. Whether we're together, or apart, I'm always reminded of how proud she is of me, and in turn I hope she knows how proud I am to be her daughter.
