Mothers are so incredibly special - every day of the year! But today we want to appreciate all the love, hard-work and support (and more!) that Mothers give us. Happy Mother’s Day!
Today's episode is extra special, as it features my mom, Rose.
They say moms are superheroes without the cape, well I think my mom deserves a cape, she is one of the hardest working people I know. For over 22 years she has been my personal superhero and I can’t thank her enough for it. Always there to share advice, reassuring words, a tight hug, or even just a bowl of warm homemade soup (the best in my opinion). She showed me what it means to love with everything you have. Whether we're together, or apart, I'm always reminded of how proud she is of me, and in turn I hope she knows how proud I am to be her daughter.

When my mom and dad immigrated to start a farm here together they left everything behind in The Netherlands (except for the dog!)
Raising 3 daughters on the farm…
They raised the 3 of us on on the farm teaching us to value hard work, but we also made sure to have lots of fun along the way (listen in to hear some of those stories!)
